The City of Maitland is accepting applications to fill the upcoming vacancy of City Council Seat 4.
The selected applicant will fulfill the remaining term of City Council Member Lindsay Hall Harrison, who will step down on March 25. The Seat 4 term expires in April 2026. The Maitland Mayor and City Council members will interview selected applicants to appoint one person for the position.
Submit an application here. Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. March 17, 2025. Only qualified voters of the city residing within the city limits of Maitland for a minimum of six months prior to application shall be eligible to hold the office.
The selected candidate shall adhere to all requirements of the Maitland City Charter and submit financial disclosures from the previous year to the Florida Ethics Commission.
The City Council will discuss all submitted applications at the March 24, 2025, City Council meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Maitland City Hall, 1776 Independence Lane.
