A boil water notice issued by the Maitland Public Works Department on Friday, Aug. 4, is rescinded following completion of two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological tests confirming water is safe for consumption.
Testing, which is a precaution required under Florida Administrative Code, was conducted following damage and subsequent repair of an underground water main on Cove Colony Road east of North Thistle Lane.
