[ARCHIVED] New Hours

New Hours

The City of Maitland will have new hours of operation beginning January 2.

City Hall and administrative offices (including utility billing, community development and human resources) will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

The change will provide more convenience with earlier morning hours and later evening hours to serve residents and businesses on those days. Offices will close Fridays through Sundays.

The change will not impact police and fire services. Parks and recreational program times also will remain the same.

Many municipal services including utility billing, planning, building and human resources are offered online at www.itsmymaitland.com to make city services even easier to access – any time you want. Sign up for recreational programs or reserve park facilities online. Submit city concerns quickly and directly with the “Report a Concern” feature on the website home page. View special event and meeting calendars and agendas.

The new, compressed office schedule will provide more flexibility for public services beyond the traditional eight-to-five daily office hours. It also will help to lower the city’s operational costs while reducing weekly vehicle trips for city employees – both benefits that highlight Maitland’s commitment to improve environmental sustainability.

For more information about the new schedule beginning Jan. 2, call (407) 539-6223.
