[ARCHIVED] Storm Debris

debris

Maitland homeowners are responsible for clearing waste debris from the front of their properties following Hurricane Ian and Tropical Storm Nicole.

The City of Maitland will collect only debris that is placed in bags or containers weighing no more than 50 pounds each or tied together in bundles measuring no longer than 4 feet long. Debris collections are each Wednesday.

Piles of debris will not be picked up with regular weekly collections.

Homeowners who do not bag, bundle or contain debris in containers may request a special pickup from the city’s waste contractor, WastePro, at the homeowner’s expense. Payments must be made in advance.

To schedule a special collection with WastePro, please contact the City of Maitland Utility Billing Division at (407) 539-6265.
