Bring the whole family for Kids Day at the Maitland Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday, Sept. 21, on Independence Lane in front of City Hall.
The market date will feature lots of extra fun activities including a large bubble playground, a bounce house, games on the lawn, music, food and more.
Misty Morning Crafts will host a free craft for children (while supplies last) to create their own clay pottery during the event. Play-doh will be available for smaller children.
Take the little ones on a fun scavenger hunt with prizes. Maitland Fire-Rescue will have a beefy engine pumper truck on display. The Maitland Public Library will have a craft tent as well.
Admission is free.
The Maitland Farmer’s Market features dozens of local vendors that include produce, plants, crafts, food and various products. You can find locally grown and raised agricultural products from small farmers, fresh baked breads and cookies, honey, food and drinks, and beautiful plants and flowers.
While at the event, visit some of Maitland’s great downtown businesses including Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream, Houndstooth Kitchen and Eatery, Boku Sushi Maitland, Brewlando Brewing, Starbucks, Parea Greek Taverna and Lazy Moon Pizza.
Parking is available north of the site on Horatio Avenue and south on Packwood Avenue.
