The City of Maitland is accepting applications to serve on a voluntary committee for selecting a financial auditor.
The committee will establish criteria to evaluate certified public accounting firms such as personnel, experience and qualifications to provide auditing services. Submittals from qualified firms will be reviewed and ranked for recommendation.
Committee applications must be received no later than 6 p.m. Monday, May 5. Appointments will be made at the May 12, 2025, City Council meeting at City Hall, 1776 Independence Lane. A minimum of two residents will be selected.
Committee selections are in accordance with City Charter Sec. 4.7-1and Florida Statutes 218.391.
