Maitland News
Minnehaha Park now open. Recap of September 18, 2017, Facebook video.

Below is recap of the Monday, September 18, 2017, Facebook video:

Storm Debris Pickup
  • Crews will be mobilized today to begin pick up for large debris generated by Irma.  Please be patient, it may take a couple of months.
  • This does not include fencing or anything that is storm damaged in your homes such as furniture or appliances.  If these are mixed into the vegetative debris, they cannot be picked up by the contract waste hauler and those piles will be left behind.
  • The plan is for the large debris hauler to pick up from east (with the most debris) to west, so east-side neighborhoods are picked up first.
  • There will be some leaves and small branches left behind. These will be small enough for you to containerize for the next yard waste pick up.
  • Please check www.itsmymaitland.com and social media for a street-by-street maps and updates. *The street-by-street maps are in the process of being created.  When they are available, we will notify you by email and social media.*
  • If you are missed, please email debris@itsmymaitland.com.
Parks
  • City crews have been working on Minnehaha Park and it will be open today, Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
