Duke Energy is aware of the power outages affecting the City.  They are actively working throughout Orange County to re-establish power.  If you are without power and are operating a generator, please ensure that it is kept outside while being used.

Orange County Government lifted their curfew at 2:00 p.m. today, Friday, October 7, 2016.

Citizens should exercise extreme caution while traveling throughout the City.  Be aware of downed power lines, downed trees, and any other hazards. Residents should be aware of the possibility that traffic lights may be down.  Drive with increased caution.
