Exciting events scheduled for the Open House during EMS Week are, free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, hurricane preparedness safety tips, senior’s injury prevention tips, car seat demonstrations, finger printing, and fire and rescue truck tours for the kids.

“This is an exciting way for us to make the community more aware of all the services provided by their emergency medical teams,” stated Maitland Fire Chief, Dan Hardester.  “The Open House also gives us the opportunity to give back to our community by providing our residents with free blood pressure and blood sugar tests, along with the addition of a new segment designed to help Senior’s prevent injury,” continued Chief Hardester.
