1. Do we charge for playing tennis? Yes:
- We have hourly court fees @ $4.00 per hour before 5 PM and @ $6.00 per hour after 5 PM.
- Annual passes are available for Maitland residents as well as non-residents.
- $3.00 guest fees are collected if and when joined by an annual pass patron.
- Court bookings taken one(1) day in advance.
2. Do we charge for playing basketball? Yes:
- Maitland residents may purchase a residential pass for $10.00, good through their entire residency.
- Non-residents have the option of purchasing an annual pass for $50.00 per year, or $2.00 per day.
- Children ages 14 and under - no fee
- User fees required @ age 15 years.
3. Do we charge for pavilions and picnic tables? Yes and No:
- Pavilions are rented on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. You must come by the Community Park in person to complete all paperwork and make payment for your respective site.
- The two (2) small size shelters will accommodate a maximum of 32 persons (total head count) with four (4) 6' tables and a small grill.
- The one (1) large size shelter will accommodate a maximum of 80 persons (total head count) with ten (10) 8' tables and 2 large grills.
- Pavilions are rented on 1/2 day segments or a full day based on availability.
- Larger groups of up to 150 may utilize the facilities if and only if all three shelters are rented to accommodate the larger group.
- There are four (4) 8' picnic tables under tree cover that are available for families or small groups of less than 15 persons. These are not rental spaces and are 1st come, 1st serve.
- Any group of 15 or more persons must complete paperwork and rent pavilion space.
- Pavilion area, playground and sandlot volleyball all close at dusk.

4. How do we sign up for tennis classes?
- Group and/or private tennis lessons are offered throughout the year.
- Each set of group lessons is on a six (6) week format. A seventh (7th) week is scheduled for rain makeups.
Note: Summer classes are normally planned on a four (4) week Format due to school schedules and Independence Day.

Private tennis lessons are normally booked between the individuals and the tennis pro.
Private lesson rates are $25.00 (1/2 hour) and $50.00 (1 hour).
Semi-private lessons also taught for 2,3 or 4 individuals at once.
5. What all is available within the park?
- The Community Park is a 26 acre setting. We have 19 usable acres With 7 acres of wetland on the eastern portion of the property. Hours of operations: 8 AM to 10 PM Tuesday - Thursday, 8 AM to 8 PM Friday - Monday. Function:
- 4 lighted tennis courts
- 2 indoor A/C racquetball courts
- 2 full size outdoor basketball courts
- 1 sandlot volleyball pit
- 3 rental shelters with grills and tables
- .60-mile perimeter trails made of crushed shell rock
- 5-station Vita course
- Interior walkways throughout
- Indoor and outdoor drink fountains
- Concessions - snacks & drinks
- Men's and Women's restrooms (handicapped accessible)
- Meeting Room space (rental)
- 233-yard boardwalk over the wetlands to access pedestrians and bikes from the Dommerich neighborhood
- 1 large playground with 3 slides, swinging bridge, ladders and climbing bars.
- 8 station swing set
- 1 small tot lot with 2 slides, platform areas and monkey bars
Miscellaneous Park Rentals:
Contact Maitland Community Park @ 407-539-0042. for rental information of other park properties.
- Lake Sybelia Point Park - small pavilion with four (4) tables,
- Large grill, small swing set and slide, restrooms. Suitable for groups up to 32.
- Lake Lily Gazebo - utilized for wedding ceremonies and small
- Party functions. Gazebo capacity is 16. Picnic tables may be removed for decorating purposes and to accommodate a wedding ceremony.

Other Important Information:
- Racquetball - $5.00 per hour rental for Maitland residents $7.00 per hour rental for non-residents
Boat Passes: Maitland/WP chain of lakes Annual fees run from July 1st through June 30th of each year. FL Registration required to purchase boat passes.
Rates are based on length and horsepower of vessel. Contact Maitland Community Park for accurate rates.
Fees will be pro-rated (1/2 price) as of January 1st through June 30th of the calendar year. |
