*Maitland City Code Sec. 7.31 requires containers to be placed for collection at the edge of the customers property, adjacent to a street or alley and to be accessible without entering into a building or shelter of any type or by walking under or around a yard or property obstacle. A good rule of thumb is to have containers, etc. placed within 3 feet of the street.
*Maitland City Code Sec. 7.33 requires that garbage carts be placed at the street no earlier than 5:00 p.m. of the preceding day designated for collection and that they shall be removed no later than 7:00 p.m. the day of collection.
* Maitland City Code Sec.7.21 requires yard waste to be properly bundled or containerized in such a manner as to enable lifting the trash in a single lifting movement to place into the truck. Bundles must not exceed forty (40) pounds in weight and four (4) feet in length. Grass and leaves should be placed for collection in disposable containers.
