Active Uses
The Parks and Open Space was divided into two separate activities boards, one for passive and one for active recreation. The intent of the graphics was to spark ideas from the community on what type of activities that they would like to see occur in the open space. Ideas generated during the discussions ranged from large scale items such as open markets, art shows, symphonies, and special events to activities such as movies in the park and historical walking tours.
Passive Uses

The intent of the graphics was to spark ideas from the community on what type of activities that they would like to see occur in the open space. Examples of passive open space uses were walking paths, reflective gardens, and tranquil areas for reading a book or eating a lunch. The Graphics show open green spaces as well as more private areas defined by sculpture and landscaping.
