Forum 6 Summary
The conceptual design for the architecture of the new Maitland City Hall facility was a culmination of elements discussed throughout the 6 communtiy forum meetings. The main idea that developed from the community is that they wanted architecture that reflected southern charm without an overpowering amount of frill and detail. The building's character was to reflect strength by the use of masonry construction while having different textures to and elements to create a more human scale facade.
