Forum 6 Summary
The final masterplan reflects the input given to the City in the Community Forums process. The majority of the people requested that the new City Hall be located within the central park area with easy access from the surrounding parking facilities. As the masterplan shows, this was accomplished by creating additional pedestrian pathways and connections to the proposed parking gargaes. On-street parking was also incorporated around the central park area to allow for short-term easy access parking opportunities. The community also requested that during the design phase of the 2 block area that City staff make sure to incorporate the historical aspects of the Town's evolution and to use this history as a foundation to the park design. The central area design elements are also to reflect the City's commitment to the revitilization of the Downtown project.

Once the input concerning the possible locations for the City Hall was gathered from the first 3 Community Forums the information was documented and used to create 2 more boards that incorporated the community requested design elements. These boards shown here were brought back to the community in the 4th and 5th Community Forum meetings for additional comment.
