Public Safety Building
The Public Safety Building has been designed as a 'liner building' along the east side of the new parking garage. The benefits of using a liner building design approach is that it allows the new facilities to hide the attached parking structure while improving aesthetics and adding much needed parking. The Public Safety Building will house both the Police and Fire Stations and is scheduled to be the first phase of the Town Center area. Residential, office and commercial structures that will be leased by private businesses will also be constructed as liner buildings on the parking facility and will be located next to the Public Safety Building to create the first redevelopment block in Maitland's Town Square |
