Location: 10 Maitland Groves Road, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The application is filed by Greg Allen, 10 Maitland Groves Road, Maitland, Florida 32751. The applicant requests a variance to construct an addition to the residence, which would come to within 11 feet of the northwestern side yard property line in lieu of the required 15 feet. The subject property is located within an RS-1, single-family residential zoning district.

6.       Public Hearing Petition No. 2007-06 (BZA) 201 W. Horatio Avenue

Applicant: Charles L. and Renee Charlan, 4004 Lake Mira Drive, Orlando, Florida 32817

Location: 201 W. Horatio Avenue, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The applicants request variances to install a ten-foot(10’) high arbor over an entry gate nine-feet (9’) in height along with a block wall including columns seven feet (7’) in height, exceeding the two and one-half foot (2½’) height requirement within the twenty-five foot (25’) front yard and the maximum fence/wall height of eight feet (8’). The property is located in the RS-2, single family residential zoning district.
