4.        Public Hearing:  Petition No. 2007-01 (BZA) 710 Lake Catherine Drive

      Applicants:  Johnny B. Sandifer and Cathy R. Sandifer, 710 Lake Catherine Drive, Maitland, Florida 32751

      Location: 710 Lake Catherine Drive, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The applicants have requested the following variances: 1) to permit an addition to the existing single family residence to be constructed within 7.5 feet of the northern side property line in lieu of the required 10-foot side yard; 2) to allow an existing accessory structure to remain in the required 25-foot front yard as well as the 10-foot side yard located along the northern portion of the property. As proposed the applicants would like to renovate the existing accessory structure to accommodate a garage/guestroom. The garage/guestroom renovation does incorporate access from Ventris Court to the noted accessory structure. The property is located in a RS-2, single-family residential district.
