5.       Public Hearing: Petition No. 2006-05 (BZA) 2045 Mohawk Trail

      Applicant: Edward R. Hotaling, 2045 Mohawk Trail, Maitland, Florida 32751

Location: 2045 Mohawk Trail, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The applicant has requested a variance to construct a block wall six foot (6’) to eight foot (8’) in height within fifteen foot (15’) of the required front yard (street side yard) property boundary. This request is to replace an existing wood fence with a block wall in a different location. The applicant proposes to construct a block wall five foot (5’) from the eastern side of the property boundary in lieu of the fifteen foot (15’) required yard “street side yard”. The applicant requests to construct the block wall outside of an existing five foot (5’) utility easement that is located within the property boundary.
