WELCOME to our JOINT WORKSESSION --In the interest of time efficiency, the following will prevail for comments by the public. Each speaker will be permitted 5 minutes to offer contributions to the discussion items. No speakers will be interrupted. THANK YOU for participating in your City Government.

4.      Discussion of the Recommendations of The Maitland Planning and Zoning Commission : 
  To Lead the discussion Tracey Crow and Pat Tyjeski-- LEA, Sara Blanchard--City Staff, Virginia Cassidy-- City Attorney
·         Petition 2011-03 (AZ) Downtown Maitland Zoning District and Downtown Maitland Special District This application is submitted by the City of Maitland as an administrative amendment which is intended to create a Downtown Maitland Zoning District and Downtown Maitland Special Overlay District.
·         Petition 2011-04 (AZ) Zoning Amendment - Downtown Maitland Rezoning of properties.
The second part of the discussion is also a City initiated Zoning Amendment which would change the zoning classification of certain properties designated on the City of Maitland 2030 Comprehensive Development Plan, Future Land Use Map Series, Map-1, as “Downtown Maitland,” to Downtown Maitland Zoning District (DMZD). The zoning classification for those properties zoned Planned Development (PD) and which are designated on the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Development Plan as “Downtown Maitland” will not be changed.
·       Recommendation: Downtown Maitland Development Standards Manual (Previously known as the “Pattern Book”)
