  5. Public Hearing: Petition No. 2003-01 (ALU) Centex Homes (Continued from April 3, 2003)

    • Applicant: Centex Homes of Florida, Inc., 385 Douglas Avenue, Suite 2000, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714.
    • Request: The applicant proposes to amend the City's Future Land Use Map to change the Land Use category of a specific site from PROFESSIONAL OFFICE to LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL.
    • Location: The property is contiguous along a portion of the northern boundary to Maitland Club Replat and Lake Love; to the south of the site are Hope Road, Maitland Boulevard, Maitland Professional Village Phase I and offices developed as part of Hope Road Commercial Plat. To the west of the site is "The Place" an assisted living facility. Lake Charity and Marriot's Brighton Gardens, an assisted living facility, are situated to the east of the subject property.

  6. Public Hearing: Petition 2003-01 (PCU) Belhaven College

    • Applicant: Belhaven College, 2301 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 165, Maitland, Florida 32751.
    • Request: The application is submitted pursuant to Section 21-20. Floating Zone. V. Permitted Conditional Uses. Nonresidential Land Use Districts,10.College/University of the Maitland City Code. The applicant requests conditional use approval to enable Belhaven College to be located at 2301 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 165, Maitland, Florida. Belhaven College offers associates, bachelors, and masters degree programs. The proposal includes classroom space, administrative offices, and conference rooms utilizing approximately 5,234 square feet. The current property owner is ASP WT LLC, c/o Deloitte & Touche LLP, 201 E. Kennedy Boulevard, Suite 700, Tampa, Florida 33602.
    • Location: The site is located to the north of Maitland Center Parkway and to the east of Winderley Place.
