  5. Public Hearing: Petition No. 2003-01 (SUB) Lake Faith Medical Center

    • Applicant: MNH Enterprises, Inc., 1101 N. Maitland Avenue, Maitland, Florida 32751.
    • Request: The applicant requests a replat of the recorded plat of Keewin Lexington Park Phase II. Through the replat process, the existing 6 lot subdivision would be reduced to a one lot subdivision plat. This corresponds to the Final Development Plan (PD) application proposed by MNH Enterprises to enable construction of the Lake Faith Medical Office Building on the site.
    • Location: The site is situated in the northeast quadrant of the Maitland Avenue and Maitland Boulevard intersection.

  6. Public Hearing: Petition 2003-01 (PCU) Belhaven College

    • Applicant: Belhaven College, 2301 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 165, Maitland, Florida 32751.
    • Request: The application is submitted pursuant to Section 21-20. Floating Zone. V. Permitted Conditional Uses. Nonresidential Land Use Districts,10. College/University of the Maitland City Code. The applicant requests conditional use approval to enable Belhaven College to be located at 2301 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 165, Maitland, Florida. Belhaven College offers associates, bachelors, and masters degree programs. The proposal includes classroom space, administrative offices, and conference rooms utilizing approximately 5,234 square feet. The current property owner is ASP WT LLC, c/o Deloitte & Touche LLP, 201 E. Kennedy Boulevard, Suite 700, Tampa, Florida 33602.
    • Location: The site is located to the north of Maitland Center Parkway and to the east of Winderley Place.

  7. Public Hearing: Petition No. 2003-01 (ALU) Centex Homes

    • Applicant: Centex Homes of Florida, Inc., 385 Douglas Avenue, Suite 2000, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714.
    • Request: The applicant proposes to amend the City's Future Land Use Map to change the Land Use category of a specific site from PROFESSIONAL OFFICE to LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL.
    • Location: The property is contiguous along a portion of the northern boundary to Maitland Club Replat and Lake Love; to the south of the site are Hope Road, Maitland Boulevard, Maitland Professional Village Phase I and offices developed as part of Hope Road Commercial Plat. To the west of the site is "The Place" an assisted living facility. Lake Charity and Marriot's Brighton Gardens, an assisted living facility, are situated to the east of the subject property.

  8. CANCELLED Public Hearing: Petition No. 2003-02 (ALU) Jaffee

    • Applicant: Glen Jaffee, 391 West Trotters Drive, Maitland, Florida 32751.
    • Request: To amend the City's Future Land Use Map to change the Land Use category from HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL to DOWNTOWN MAITLAND.
    • Location: Parcel located to the east of Packwood Apartments on Lake Nina.

  9. Public Hearing: Petition No. 2003-03 (ALU) City of Maitland

    • Applicant: City of Maitland, Florida, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida.
    • Request: Amend the Comprehensive Development Plan of the City of Maitland, Florida more particularly to amend Maps 1-12 of the City Maitland, 2001-2020 Comprehensive Development Plan to modify the City's boundaries to incorporate areas annexed into the City of Maitland as well as provide Future Land Use designations consistent with Maitland jurisdictional categories.
    • Locations: Dommerich Hills - Annexed via Ordinance No. 1023 - The properties included are Dommerich Hills, Dommerich Hills First Addition, Dommerich Hills Second Addition, Dommerich Hills Third Addition, and Dommerich Hills Fifth Addition subdivisions, as well as Howell Branch Park and the conservation area west and north of the park.

      Summit Area "A" - Annexed via Ordinance 1043 - Future land use designation for Summit Area "A". The properties are generally situated to the north of Pembrook Drive, to the west of Keller Road, to the south of the Seminole County line and to the east of Summit Centre Way.

      Summit Area "B" - Annexed via Ordinance 1044 - The properties are generally situated to the north of Pembrook Drive, to the south of Maitland Boulevard, to the east of Monahan Road and to the west of Maitland Summit Boulevard and Summit Centre Way.

  10. Recommendation: 2003-01 (AZ) (PD) Final Development Plan Lake Faith Professional Center

    • Applicant: MNH Enterprises, Inc., 1101 N. Maitland Avenue, Maitland, Florida 32751.
    • Request: The applicant requests Final Development Plan approval to enable construction of the 31,463 square foot Lake Faith Medical Office Building on the site.
    • Location: The site is situated in the northeast quadrant of the Maitland Avenue and Maitland Boulevard intersection
