Welcome: The Commission welcomes public comment. To ensure that the concerns of all parties are given fair consideration at the appropriate stages of the process, it is important that decorum is maintained. When addressing the Commission, please address all statements to the Chair. Since an audio record is being made of the meeting, individuals addressing the Commission are asked to use the lectern so that the comments may be recorded. In addition, individuals addressing the Commission must provide their name and address for the record. During public hearings, an announcement will be made to open and close the public comment stages of the hearing. Any written statements or other exhibits shall be provided to the staff representative, if desired to be made a part of the meeting record. Your involvement is essential to the process and is appreciated. One or more members of the City Council and/or other City Boards may be present at this meeting and may speak. Please silence cellular phones and pagers during the meeting.

IV.            Public Period for non-agenda items (up to 15 minutes with time limit of three minutes per person)

V.          Public Hearing: Petition No. 2012-01 (AZ)(PD) 0 East Packwood Avenue/Maitland Town Properties, LLC.

Location: East of Packwood Avenue, South of Horatio Avenue, and along the western side of Lake Nina.

Request: A petition for Zoning Amendment Planned Development – Option 1 has been filed by the property owner Maitland Town Properties, LLC, 500 Winderley Place, Suite 224, Maitland, Florida 32751. As submitted the applicant requests to change the current zoning classification from RS-2, single-family residential district to a Planned Development (PD) District and to obtain approval of a development plan to construct three townhome buildings, with a total of thirteen dwelling units. Access to the development is proposed from E. Packwood Avenue through a non-ingress/egress easement located at the northwest corner of the site.

VI.          Public Hearing: Petition No. 2012-01 (ANX) 1205/1241 North Orlando Avenue and 1254 Lewis Drive (Don Reid Ford, Inc.)

Location: The property is generally west of US 17-92 (South Orlando Avenue) and south of the CSX Railroad overpass; north of Glendon Parkway; and east of Lewis Drive.

Request: Don Reid Ford, Incorporated requests voluntary annexation of property into the City, consistent with the Joint Planning Area Agreement (JPA) with Orange County.

Such a person must provide a method for recording the proceedings.
