Welcome: The Commission welcomes public comment. To ensure that the concerns of all parties are given fair consideration at the appropriate stages of the process, it is important that decorum is maintained. When addressing the Commission, please address all statements to the Chair. Since an audio record is being made of the meeting, individuals addressing the Commission are asked to use the lectern so that the comments may be recorded. In addition, individuals addressing the Commission must provide their name and address for the record. During public hearings, an announcement will be made to open and close the public comment stages of the hearing. Any written statements or other exhibits shall be provided to the staff representative, if desired to be made a part of the meeting record. Your involvement is essential to the process and is appreciated.

IV.          Public Hearing: Petition No. 2006-06 (AZ)(PD) 160 Minnehaha Road

Applicant: Mike Piumelli, Spokefour, LLC , 413 Prairie Creek Drive, Fern Park, Florida 32730

Request: Zoning Amendment Major Planned Development ( Preliminary Phase) - The applicant requests to change the subject property’s current zoning classification of RS-2, Single Family Residential District to PD, Planned Development District and to obtain approval of a preliminary development plan.

Location: North of Horatio Avenue, on the east  side of Minnehaha Road and has frontage on  Lake Minnehaha.

V.             Public Hearing: Petition No. 2006-03 (SUB) 160 Minnehaha Road

Applicant: Mike Piumelli, Spokefour, LLC , 413 Prairie Creek Drive, Fern Park, Florida 32730

Request: Approve preliminary subdivision plat to subdivide the subject site into 4 (four) lots for the future construction of four single-family dwellings.

Location: North of Horatio Avenue, on the east side of Minnehaha Road and has frontage on Lake Minnehaha.

VI.          Decision: Petition No. 2006-09 (SPR) 400/450 S. Orlando Avenue (Maitland Mixed Use)

Applicant:  Shoppes of Maitland L.L.C., 7505 West Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819

Request: The application has been filed for a Major Change to an approved site plan pursuant to Section 7.5-85. Revision of Site Plan of the Maitland City Code. The applicant requests to amend the approved site plan to remove a condition of approval for the Reciprocal Cross Access Easement between the subject property and the property to the north (the location of the Walgreens Drug Store).

Location: The property is located at 400/450 S. Orlando Avenue (N.E. Corner of S. Orlando Avenue and Ventris Avenue), Maitland, FL 32751

Such a person must provide a method for recording the proceedings.
