Welcome: The Commission welcomes public comment. To ensure that the concerns of all parties are given fair consideration at the appropriate stages of the process, it is important that decorum is maintained. When addressing the Commission, please address all statements to the Chair. Since an audio record is being made of the meeting, individuals addressing the Commission are asked to use the lectern so that the comments may be recorded. In addition, individuals addressing the Commission must provide their name and address for the record. During public hearings, an announcement will be made to open and close the public comment stages of the hearing. Any written statements or other exhibits shall be provided to the staff representative, if desired to be made a part of the meeting record. Your involvement is essential to the process and is appreciated. One or more members of the City Council and/or other City Boards may be present at this meeting and may speak.

V.              Public Hearing/Recommendation: Petition No. 2011-01 (SUB) 630 & 660 Live Oak Street and 411/455/457 Manor Road

Applicant: Robert Miller, FAIA, 1201 Fairview Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32789

Location: 630 & 660 Live Oak Street and 411/455/457 Manor Road, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The applicant requests a final subdivision plat to subdivide five existing lots into seven lots. The properties are located in the RS-3, single-family residential district

VI.           Discussion:  Draft of the Definition for “Residential Scale and Character”

VII.        Discussion: Modifications to Chapter 7.5 Land Development Procedures of the Maitland City Code

In conjunction with modification to the Land Development Code following the adoption of the CDP EAR-based amendments, Chapter 7.5 Land Development Procedures was reviewed. Draft modifications are proposed to streamline and update procedures within Chapter 7.5. These include such as, Annexation, l Planned Development, Permitted Conditional Use, Site Plan Review, Zoning Amendment, Off-Site or Shared Parking, CDP Amendment, Subdivisions, Variances and Vested Rights.
