Welcome: The Commission welcomes public comment. To ensure that the concerns of all parties are given fair consideration at the appropriate stages of the process, it is important that decorum is maintained. When addressing the Commission, please address all statements to the Chair. Since an audio record is being made of the meeting, individuals addressing the Commission are asked to use the lectern so that the comments may be recorded. In addition, individuals addressing the Commission must provide their name and address for the record. During public hearings, an announcement will be made to open and close the public comment stages of the hearing. Any written statements or other exhibits shall be provided to the staff representative, if desired to be made a part of the meeting record. Your involvement is essential to the process and is appreciated.

V.            Public Hearing: Petition 2006-04 (AZ) Section 21-5. Supplemental District Regulations

Applicant: Janice Karla Stange, 05718 Twin Palms Road, Fruitland Park, Florida 34731.

Request: Amend Section 21-5. Supplemental District Regulations. B. Nonconforming lots of record, of the Maitland City Code. As proposed, the amendment would allow platted lots in the RS-3, single-family residential district to be built upon if altered after the date of recording of the plat, subject to such alteration occurring prior to a specific date, even though such lot fails to meet the width or area as originally platted. However, such lot must not be less than 45 feet in width.

Location:  RS-3 Zoning District within City of Maitland

Such a person must provide a method for recording the proceedings.
