Welcome: The Commission welcomes public comment. To ensure that the concerns of all parties are given fair consideration at the appropriate stages of the process, it is important that decorum is maintained. When addressing the Commission, please address all statements to the Chair. Since an audio record is being made of the meeting, individuals addressing the Commission are asked to use the lectern so that the comments may be recorded. In addition, individuals addressing the Commission must provide their name and address for the record. During public hearings, an announcement will be made to open and close the public comment stages of the hearing. Any written statements or other exhibits shall be provided to the staff representative, if desired to be made a part of the meeting record. Your involvement is essential to the process and is appreciated.

IV.           Approval of Minutes from April 15, 2010

V.              Public Hearing/Recommendation:Petition No. 2010-02 (SPR) 1776 Independence Lane

Applicant: City of Maitland

Location: 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: Approval of an Amendment to an approved Site Pan for  construction of Maitland Fire Station #45.

VI.           Public Hearing:  EAR-based Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Amendments-CDP 2010-2030. Amendments to the CDP include Goals, Objectives, Policies and Standards that address:

·      Changes in State Statutes that affect the adopted CDP.

·      Issues of Local Concern, identified through the EAR process.

·      Comprehensive Development Plan Elements including the update of graphic illustrations, and modifications to and updates of date identifiers within standards and policies.

·      The amendments include density and intensity parameters for Downtown Maitland and for the Maitland West Side (located to the west of Interstate-4) within the City of Maitland.

Amendments to the CDP include modifications to and updates of the Future Land Use Map Series.

VII.        Public Hearing: FY 2011-2015 Capital Improvements Program  The amendment also incorporates modifications to the Public School Facilities Element and Capital Improvement Element of the CDP, such as to reference an update of the Orange County Public Schools 10-Year Capital Outlay Plan and amend table(s) and figure(s) within those elements. A draft First Amendment to the Amended Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning and Implementation of Concurrency will be reviewed and considered by the Commission as well.

Such a person must provide a method for recording the proceedings.
