Welcome: The Commission welcomes public comment. To ensure that the concerns of all parties are given fair consideration at the appropriate stages of the process, it is important that decorum is maintained. When addressing the Commission, please address all statements to the Chair. Since an audio record is being made of the meeting, individuals addressing the Commission are asked to use the lectern so that the comments may be recorded. In addition, individuals addressing the Commission must provide their name and address for the record. During public hearings, an announcement will be made to open and close the public comment stages of the hearing. Any written statements or other exhibits shall be provided to the staff representative, if desired to be made a part of the meeting record. Your involvement is essential to the process and is appreciated.

V.              Public Hearing/Recommendation: Notice of Proposed Changed (NOPC) The Summit Parcels 1B,1C and 1D

Applicant: Oasis Condominium, LLC, and Dwell Apartments, LLC, c/o The Klein Company 1735 Market Street, Suite 4040, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19103 and Orlando Sportsplex, Ltd. 8701 Maitland Summit Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32810.

Location: The Summit DRI Parcels 1B, 1C, and 1D - The property is generally located northwest of the intersection of Keller Road and Maitland Boulevard

Request: The applicant seeks approval to: 1) Modify the development program for Parcels 1B and 1D of the Summit DRI, by reducing the approved 300 multi-family residential units to 219 units. 2) Add 210 hotel rooms to the development program for Parcels 1B and 1D. 3) Add an equivalency factor to the conversion matrix in order to allow land use conversions between Hotel and other uses within the development. 4) Revise Map H to include Hotel as an approved use to the Development Program. 5) Extend the buildout date, the termination date, and the date prior to which the approved development cannot be subject to down zoning or intensity reduction to December 30, 2013.6) Revise the requirement for “annual” reporting to “biennial” reporting.

Such a person must provide a method for recording the proceedings.
