3.      Decision–Petition No. 2006-01 (SPR) ­423 South Keller Road

Applicant: Keller Road, LCC; The Scott Partnership Architecture, 423 South Keller Road, Suite 200; Orlando, Florida 32810

Location: 423 South Keller Road, Orlando, Florida 32810

Request: The applicant requests to construct 37,742 square foot office building.

4.      Decision–Petition No. 2006-01 (SUB) ­423 South Keller Road

Applicant: Keller Road, LCC; The Scott Partnership Architecture, 423 South Keller Road, Suite 200; Orlando, Florida 32810

Location: 423 South Keller Road, Orlando, Florida 32810

Request: The applicant requests a lot split of the property into Parcel A & B.

5.      Recommendation–Petition No. 2006-02 (AZ) (PD) 755 South Keller Road

Applicant: Wesley Geys, The Wescar Companies, 195 International Drive, Heathrow, Florida 32746. The current property owner is Edward W. Johnson, Jr., 1505 Lakeside Drive, Deland, Florida 32720.

Location: 755 South Keller Road, Maitland, Florida 32751

      Request: The applicant requests to change the zoning classification from (R-1) Single-Family Dwelling Residential, to (PD) Planned Development District and to obtain approval of a preliminary development plan in order to construct 49 (forty-nine) multi-family condominium dwelling units, which includes 
5 (five) stories, and 2 (two) stories for parking, for a total of 7 (seven) stories in height. 

 

6.      Agreement for Redevelopment of Property and Access to City Incentives in Downtown Maitland for The Village of Lake Lily

Applicant: MGI Properties Maitland Limited Partnership 480 N. Orlando Avenue, Suite C-222, Winter Park, Florida 32789.

Location: The subject property lies south of Lake Lily Park, east of the CSX railroad tracks, west of US 17-92, and north of Lake Avenue, within the City of Maitland.

 

Request: The Agreement will allow construction of a minimum of 40,000 and a maximum of 90,000 square feet of retail/office commercial space and a maximum of 450 multi-family residential units (at least 200 units will be condominium) and includes two parking structures constructed between the buildings so as not to be seen from or front the streets and other associated improvements. A maximum height of fifty-five feet (55’) to the eave (excluding roof elements and focal points not intended for human occupation) is proposed with regard to the residential and associated parking improvements on the site.  The proposed Agreement also provides for the design and construction of streetscape along U.S. Highway 17-92 and the portion of the project site fronting Lake Avenue, open space, utilities, and storm water elements.

7.      Recommendation: Petition No. 2005-02-The Woods at Park Lake (AZ) (PD) – Preliminary Development Plan

Applicant: KB Home Orlando, LLC, 8403 South Park Lake Circle; Suite 670; Orlando, Florida 32789

Location: The site is located toward the southern side of Grove Street, with approximately 8.87 acres located on the west side of Grove Street and approximately 4.83 acres situated on the east side of Grove Street.

Request: The applicant requests to change the subject properties’ current zoning classifications of (RG-2) Multiple Family Residential District and (PD) Planned Development to (PD) Planned Development District and to obtain approval of a preliminary development plan for construction of 92 (ninety-two) multiple family residential units (townhomes).

8.      Pre-Application Meeting Keller Road Retail

Applicant: Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., Suite 200; 3660 Maguire Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32803

Location: The east side of Keller Road just south of the intersection of Keller Road and Maitland Boulevard.

Request: The applicant requests an additional 8,400 square foot retail building, fronting Keller Road on the northwest side of the property. The existing northern most curb cut will be removed and the building is proposed to be located within the existing parking lot. The parking lot will be redesigned and additional parking will be added to Lake Lucien Drive at the location of the cul-de-sac.

9.      Review Boat Dock Ordinance City of Maitland

Applicant: City of Maitland, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751

Location: City of Maitland, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The applicant is requesting review of an ordinance draft, amending chapter 11, Article II, Division 4 of the City Code; providing for regulation of construction of boat docks, boathouses, boat ramps, boardwalks, and seawalls; providing for geographic jurisdiction, providing for application, review, and appellate process; providing for enforcement and penalties, and setting an effective date.
