3.       Recommendation: Petition No. 2007-08 (BZA) 211 Shell Point East

Applicant: David Schwartz, 211 Shell Point East, Maitland, Florida 32751

Location: 211 Shell Point East, Maitland, Florida

Request: The applicant requests a variance to permit the construction of a screen enclosure 9.99 feet to 2 feet from the southern side property line in lieu of the required 10 feet. The property is located in the RS-1A, single-family residential zoning district.

4.       Recommendation: Petition No. 2007-02 (AZ)(PD) 2450 Maitland Center Parkway

Location: 2450 Maitland Center Parkway, Maitland Florida 32751

Request: The applicant requests to change the subject property’s current zoning classification of OC, (Office, Commercial) to PD (Planned Development District) and to obtain approval of a preliminary development plan in conjunction with the planned development zoning district. As proposed the applicant would like to construct a 6,480 square foot Bank/Retail/Restaurant Building at 2450 Maitland Center Parkway.

Request: The applicant requests to change the current zoning classifications from PO-1 (Professional Office District) and MORC (Mixed Use District) to a PD (Planned Development District) and to obtain approval of a preliminary development plan to construct an addition to the existing elementary school

6.       Recommendation: Petition No. 2007-04 (AZ)(PD) 1950 Summit Park Drive

Applicant: Stephen Whitley, Liberty Property Limited Partnership, 2400 Lake Orange Drive, Suite 110, Orlando, Florida 32837.

Location: 1950 Summit Park Drive, Maitland, Florida 32751

Request: The applicant proposes to obtain approval of a final development plan to permit the construction of a ten story 317,449 square foot office building with surface parking and a four level parking garage in the PD (Planned Development) zoning district.  The property is situated east of Maitland Boulevard and west of Summit Park Drive.
