1.      Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Introductions

2.      Approval of Meeting Summaries – February 20, 2014 and March 20, 2014

3.      Recommendation: Petition No. 2014-03 (BZA) 101 North Thistle Lane (This shall include a Public Period.)

Applicant: Peter Burg and Janet Burg, 101 North Thistle Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751.

Location: 101 North Thistle Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751.

Request: The applicants request variances to allow the construction of additions 12 feet from the western required side yard in lieu of the required 15 feet and 25 feet from the southern required front yard in lieu of the required 30 feet. The property is located in the RS-1, single-family residential zoning district.

4.    Recommendation: Petition No. 2014-04 (BZA) 40 Cypress Lane (This shall include a Public Period.)

Request: The applicant requests a lot split of the property into Parcels 1 and 2. The property located in the RS-2, single-family residential zoning district.

6.      Recommendation: Petition No. 2014 -01 (PCU) Everglades University, 850 Trafalgar Court (This shall include a Public Period.)

Applicant: The application is submitted by Tower Realty Partners, 2701 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 225, Maitland, Florida 32751. The current property owner is 850 Trafalgar Associates, LLC, 825 3rd Avenue, FL 36, New York, New York 10022.

Request: The applicant requests approval of a permitted conditional use to allow Everglades University to be located at 850 Trafalgar Court, Maitland, Florida. Everglades University offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs and proposes to utilize approximately 28,118 square feet of the existing office building. The property is generally located west of Lake Destiny Road and east of Trafalgar Court in the Office, Commercial (OC) zoning district.
