3.       Recommendation–Petition No. 2006- 02 (AZ) 900 North Maitland Avenue

Request: The applicant is proposing a zoning amendment to Section 21-20. Floating Zone,Public/Semi-Public Uses.V. Permitted Conditional Uses.(A). Residential Land Use Districts. of the Maitland City Code.  As proposed, the amendment would add number (5.Grief Counseling Center) in the Floating Zone as a Permitted Conditional Use. 


4.       Recommendation–Petition No. 2006-01 (PCU) 850 Trafalgar Court

      Request: The applicant is requesting a permitted conditional use to allow Strayer University, Inc. to be located at 850 Trafalgar Court, Suite 360, Maitland, Florida. Strayer University offers associates, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs and utilizes approximately 11,105 square feet, which includes classroom space and administrative offices. The application is submitted pursuant to Section 21-20. Floating Zone. V. Permitted Conditional Uses.B. Nonresidential Land Use Districts, 10. College/ University.

Location: 1510 Sandspur Road, Maitland, Florida 32751

      Request: The applicant is requesting a site plan review for the construction of an 11,250 square foot single story office building.


6.       Recommendation–Petition No. 2006-06 (BZA) 288 MacArthur Place

Applicant: Scott Grossman, 3067 Coral Vine Lane, Winter Park, Florida 32792

Location: 288 MacArthur Place, Maitland, Florida 32571

      Request: The applicant has requested a variance to construct a new single family residence which would cause the maximum allowed lot coverage of 30% to be exceeded. As proposed, the lot coverage would be 31.8% with the construction of the residence.


7.       Pre-Application Meeting - 2450 Maitland Center Parkway

Applicant: Evans Engineering, Inc., 719 Irma Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32803

Location: 2450 Maitland Center Parkway, Maitland, Florida 32751

      Request: The applicant proposes to construct a 6,000 square foot building.
