Honor Guard
The City of Maitland Fire Rescue Department is proud to have its very own Honor Guard. The Honor Guard was established in late 2008 with six members. Pride, Honor, and Integrity are the team's core values. The team has presented colors at many City functions including Council Meetings, Swearing in Ceremonies, Promotional Ceremonies, and New Hire Ceremonies. The team also prides itself on its participation in the South Florida and the Winter Park St. Patrick's Day Parades. In addition, the team has also traveled to the Florida State Fire College in Ocala to show respect at the State Fallen Firefighter Memorial.
