 Richard H. Gleick, Staff Assistant in the Police Department's Office of
Professional Standards, has been chosen by the Miami (Ohio) University
Alumni Association to receive the 2005 John Dolibois Award, presented
for meritorious service to the Alumni Association.
A 1962 graduate of Miami University, Gleick was the founder of the
Central Florida Alumni Chapter, served two terms as president and is
currently Acting President until a successor has been chosen.
A former volunteer at the Police Department in the late 80's and early
90's, Gleick became a part-time assistant to Accreditation Manager Peter
Loomis in August 2004 and became a full-time Staff Assistant in
December.
